Abstract
Based on influencing factors on the number of blade,the radial inlet position,the bias angle in peripheral direction and the deflection angle in the design of short blades on complex impeller,16 different types of complex impellers with different combinational form of short-blades were designed by means of orthogonal test method.The influence of above-mentioned factors on the performance of centrifugal pump was analyzed.The numerical simulation and performance prediction of conventional impeller and complex impeller were conducted with CFD techniques,so that a good hydraulic model was obtained for centrifugal pump with super-low specific-speed,realizing optimization design of centrifugal pump impeller.
