On Establishment of the Engineering Training and Teaching Center

Abstract
One of the important tasks during the reform of engineering practice and instruction is at present to establish a new education system and to construct a model center for engineering training and teaching with the aim to raise the comprehensive quality of students, and the emphasis to cultivate the spirit of innovation and the ability of engineering practice. Several principal problems about the construction of the engineering teaching and training center were discussed in the paper.
