Abstract
For the sake of getting operation parameters of LRV such as velocity, running current and power, it is necessary to design a calculation soft for the simulation of LRV operation. Based on different railway, and vehicle parameters of locomotive, using VB6.0 language, this soft has built traction model in the worst operation state, improved the traction arithmetic, and calculated data in every section of railway such as velocity, traction motor power, traction motor current, and so on. And the calculation results are conformitied and analyzed. At last, a series of operation curves and data reports are created and the worst operation state is simulated, which is meaningful for the selection of the traction converter and motor.
