Zhang Jingsheng was one of the famous thinkers in the May 4th Movement.He studied in France for years and had learned various theories and formed his thoughts on social reform,which were part of the efforts by intellectuals during of his time to promote the progress of the Chinese society and culture.They had played an active role in his time to in regard to social and cultural progress.
