Abstract
OBJECTIVE To study the optimum extraction process of polysaccharide from Glycyrrhiza inflata.METHODS The optimal ultrasonic extraction process was selected with the orthogonal design and the content of polysaccharide was determined by spectrophotometry.RESULTS The optimum extraction process was:the polysaccharide was extracted with ultrasonic techinique for 60 minutes, with 20mL water and the particle size of material was 40 screen mesh. The average recovery was 101.11%(RSD 1.43%).CONCLUSION The experimental results provided the basis for the ultrasonic extraction process of polysaccharide from Glycyrrhiza inflata. This optimized process is economical, stable and efficient.
