Abstract
The effects of sintering temperature and pressure on the properties of WC-8wt%MgO nano-composite were studied. The results show that the lower the sintering temperature, the lower the bulk density. When sintering at much higher temperature the grains grow up quickly, which can decrease the properties of the composite. The higher the sintering pressure, the higher the density, the better the properties. When sintering at 1650 ℃ and pressure of 70 MPa,the optimum properties of the composite can be obtained.
