The Concept of Ecological Civilization from the Perspective of Chinese Marxism

In the report of the 17th CPC National Congress,the historical task of constructing ecological civilization was clearly proposed for the first time.The socialistic ecological civilization with Chinese characteristics is based on the principles of Marxism,and stems from the traditional ecological ideas and ecological ethics of western civilization.With the experience of over thirty years since the reform and especially the evolutionary features in the process of China's development in the new circumstances,the ecological civilization is gradually developing and improving.As a scientific,comprehensive and developing theory,the scientific outlook on development is the foundation of the establishing of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
