Abstract
Jiao Block 5-23 in Bamianhe Oilfield is edge bottom water reservoir with complicated small faulted blocks, which features numerous substrata containing oil and small oil blocks. In early drilling, commingling production was generally adopted and reperforating was frequently used.Nearly 20 years of development is responsible for high water cut in oil wells, large differences in interlayer's output and complicated remaining oil distribution. For further raising recovery ratio in the block, the author has tried reservoir numerical simulation method in studying the remaining oil distribution in the block and found out the solutions to development adjustment for the block.
