A Comment on the Educational Ideas of Hegel

Hegel believes that education plays an important role in the spirit's development from the subjective to absolute via the objective.Education the absolute link of a person's mental development,an indoctrination of the country's legal,social and ethical criterions and a fostering of the mind.Hegel emphasizes that education is purely for serving the country. Its purpose to conform and adapt people to reality,not to fight against it.On the basis of Marxism's principles of philosophy and law,this paper analyzes the education concepts in Hegel's Principles of Philosophy and Law and takes the stance that there clearly exists a conservative idealism and a biased metaphysics in his system of thought.
