Thresholds of the Erosion Sediment Yield in the Area with Abundant and Coarse Sediment of the Loess Plateau

The high intensive sediment yield in the area with abundant and coarse sediment of the Loess Plateau results from the joint action of natural and human factors,and there are multi-dimensional threshold in the process of sediment yield.From the threshold perspective,the authors systematically analyzed the natural and socio-economic threshold problems existing in the sediment yield process and their intrinsic mechanisms in order to lay some theoretical foundation for the harness of water and soil conservation and improvement of ecological environment in this area.
