Abstract
The duality of humanity and its existence is the internal cause for the generation of moral value. The objective social material conditions can decide on moral value, but the process can only be carried out through the intermediary, that is, the duality of humanity and its existence. The generation of moral value must go through three stages, namely the stage of demand, the stage of ought, and the stage of behavioral regulation. Moral value is characterized by a combination between utility and spirit, external social value and internal subjective value.
