Abstract

AbstrcatDetermination of Ge(Ⅳ)in pH 1.30 H_2SO_4 and 3,4-dihydroxy benzaidehyde supporting electrolyte by differential pulse polarography was developed. The peak potential at Ep=(-0.53) V,the peak current is proportional to concentration of Ge(Ⅳ)in 1.03×10~(-5)~1.04×10~(-4)mol·L~(-1).This method can be applied to determine the content of total germanium, organic germanium and inorganic germanium with satisfactory results.
