Abstract

It is argued that treating urban sculpture as private sculpture has restricted its upgrading in China.With a comparison between urban sculpture and private sculpture,this paper discusses the publicity of urban sculpture and the symbiotic combination of urban sculpture with its surroundings,and also discusses urban sculpture in the perspective of legislation,organization,and management.
