Abstract
Leaching kinetics of zinc extracted from pressure leaching of high silica Pb-Zn oxide ore in sulfuric acid medium was studied in this paper. The effects of reaction temperature 、 sulfuric acid concentration 、 pressure and stirring speed on zinc leaching were investigated. The results show that the leaching process can be mod eled with the shrinking core model, which indicates that the control factor of the leaching process is the diffu sion rate of reacting reagents in a porous solid layer. The apparent reaction progression is 1.09,and the diffusion activation energy is calculated to be 14.96 kJ/mol within the selected temperature range.
