Application of Root Piles for Basis Reinforcement in Loess Tunnel

Abstract

Root pile has a widespread application in the project,but it is slow in reinforcing loess tunnel basis,due to file over of its calculation theory development.Field test is still used to evaluate treatment effect and design variable rationality in soft foundation reinforcement.In this paper,the result of root pile reinforcement is appraised by bearing capacity test of a special loess tunnel's ground.
