Abstract
A study was conducted on regulating effect of amount of phosphorus fertilizer applied to soil on quality of wheat. The results indicated that the nutrient and processing quality of wheat was remarkably influenced by phosphorus fertilizer on the soil with an available phosphorus content of 26.7 mg·kg -1 .Within the range of 0~150 kg·hm -2 P 2O 5,the quality of wheat was improved with the increase in amount of phosphorus fertilizer, the effect of phosphorus fertilizer on improving wheat quality diminished when the amount of phosphorus fertilizer utilized was over 150 kg·hm -2 . The results also suggested that the effect of phosphorus fertilizer on improving wheat quality was related to the enhancement of activities of nitrate reductase(NR) in leaf and glutamic pyruvic transaminase(GPT) in both leaf and grain.
