Abstract
The dielectric loss factor is an important parameter of on-line insulation monitoring and the algorithm based on window and interpolation FFT can achieve high accuracy,but the window and interpolation FFT is complex.In order to simplify the algorithm,a simplified algorithm without interpolation was proposed.The non-interpolation algorithm only calculates one spectrum line adjacent to the fundamental frequency poin and then calculates the dielectric loss angle,so it simplifies the realization of the algorithm.The simulation and experiment results show that the algorithm has small calculating amount and high accuracy and satisfies the requirement for on-line monitoring of electrical equipment's dielectric loss factor.
