Abstract
Objective: To have a preliminary determination of flavonoid content in the leaves of A.trifoliatus.Methods: Physical and chemical analysis and TLC are employed to evaluate the component.Colorimetry is used to determine the content of flavonoid at 510 nm.Result: The result shows that the plant contains different kinds of flavonoid,the total content of flavonoid is 48.85mg/g.Conclusion: There exists in Acanthopanan trifoliatus flavonoid with quercetin as aglycon.
