Research on and Review of the Quality of Urbanization

With the development of economy of China, the level of urbanization has entered into a high growth stage. In 2012,the level of urbanization has reached to 52.6%. However,the speed of urbanization and the quality of urbanization is out of order due to the extensive development of urbanization. On the basis of review of domestic and overseas scholars' research result about the content of quality of urbanization; the index systems to estimate the quality of urbanization, and the related empirical analysis,this paper suggested that future studies should resolve the following questions such as,the one-sidedness about the connotation and extension of urbanization quality research,subjective index systems set-up,static and objective index design,lack of theory about quality of urbanization, empirical analysis with unclear subjects. Besides, the future researches also should deepen the discussion about the quality about population urbanization.
