Abstract
Standard penetration test is widely used to discriminate the liquefaction of sandy soil in current building anti-earthquake design. In the actual work, the more liquified, the soil layer is more loose and easily collapses. It is difficult to obtain precise penetration test data of saturated sandy soil by using standard penetration test.Through the theory deduction and test comparison, there is correlation between cone penetration test and standard penetration test, which has definite meaning for discriminating the liquefaction of saturated sandy soil.
