Abstract
Based on the study of Jianhu CFST arch bridge, a 3-D finite element model was established with current software of FEM,and the forces acted on the arch rib were analyzed. The results indicate that the gauged stresses are consistent with the theoretical counterpart. As a result, this model can simulate the practical status of the bridge, and can also offer a theoretical aid in monitoring and controlling bridge construction.
