Abstract
BC1 plants of the backcross of two sweet potato varieties,Jinshan57'(yellow flesh) and Longshu9'(orange flesh),were used to screen RAPD markers linking to the sweet potato′s flesh color.A specificity band,S5-650,was screened from 150 RAPD random primers. It was found only in most of the yellow flesh sweet potatoes, and not in most of the orange flesh sweet potatoes.
