Abstract

Rapid prototyping is an advance manufacturing technology which rose in the end of 20th centure,The production period is shortened,cost is reduced,and product quality is improved by using this advance manufacturing technology.The fundamentals,technological method and technical characteristic of rapid prototyping are briefly introduced.The developing direction of rapid prototyping in the future is approached.
