On Cultivation of Students’ Innovative Thinking Ability in Mathematics Instruction

Abstract

Innovative thinking refers to novel, creative, and valuable thinking activity. Attention should be paid to the following in cultivating students' innovative thinking ability in mathematics teaching: a democratic atmosphere to strengthen innovative consciousness, ignition of motivation by stimulating the interest, and training of divergent thinking with emphasis on diversified teaching evaluation.
