Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between expression of CD44V6 and metastasis and prognosis of human gallbladder carcinoma.Method Expression of CD44V6 in gallbladder carcinoma was investigated by in situ hybridization and immunohistochemical technique. Results CD44V6 was expressed at the mRNA and protein levels in gallbladder carcinoma, but the expression was higher in lymphnode metastasis and TNM stage Ⅳ,Ⅲ cells than in the patients without lymphnode metastasis and TNM stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ.Conclusion The expression of CD44V6 is related to the metastatic potentiality of human gallbladder carcinoma.
