Preliminary Discussion on Etiology Pathomechanism Treatment Determination Based on Syndrome Differentiation of Dyslipidemia in TCM

Through the ancient and modern literature study,this article discusses the etiology,pathomechanism,treatment determination based on syndrome differentiation of dyslipidemia in TCM.The etiologig of dyslipidemia is indulgence in fatty and greasy food and crapulence,then caused deficiency of the spleen,liver,and kidney.The pathogenesis core is spleen failing to transform and transport water,food and body fluids,liver failing to disperse the free flow of Qi,kidney failing to transform Qi.The pathological products were endogenous dampness,phlegm and blood stasis.The dyslipidemia is the syndrome of deficiency of root and repletion of branch.The root was deficiency of spleen,related to liver and kidney.The branch was combination of endogenous dampness,phlegm and blood stasis.The TCM treatment rely mainly on strenthening the spleen and replenishing Qi,clearing the liver and regulating Qi,replenishing kidney-essence,eliminating the stagnant and dissolving phlegm.
