Study on Green Development of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone

The opening up and the development of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone (Guangxi) is an important part of regional development strategy in China. It’s of great significance to establish virtuous circle mechanisms with overall optimization,good ecological environment and sustainable development in the zone. By analyzing the ecological pressure on the development of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone,such as high pollutive industries,population growth and urbanization,this paper provided development proposals that will help promote economic and ecological coupling,which included properly using resources and environment carrying capacity,overall planning of land and sea,establishing green ports and improving supervision ability of eco-environment.
