Abstract

Objective By integrating picture archiving and communication system and radiology information system based on common PC,to build PACS/RIS to offer quick images information query for clinical departments.Methods Using common PC to install system database,image workstation,image reporting system and building the connection between PACS/RIS and hospital LAN.Results Resources in all imaging departments could be integrated and saved as well as aftercared to realize resource sharing,which has provided convenient and quick services,and helps a lot for research and statistics in imaging department.Conclusion The construction of PACS/RIS system could reduce the costs for purchasing PACS.
