The Duality of Hearthcliff in Wuthering Heights

Abstract

Wuthering Heights, the only novel of Emily Bronte, holds an important position in British literature history because of its originality in subject and artistic structure. The novel has a unique structure and uncommon means of expression, with quite complicated and equivocal nature, the evaluation of which has haunted over the academic circle for quite a long time. The article emphatically analyses and duality of Hearthcliff's character in the novel.
