Abstract
Germplasm resources are the foundation of breeding and genetic research. Germplasm is also the strategic resources for the development of sustainable agriculture. Collecting and preserving of watermelon and melon germplasm are very important for enhancing our breeding and genetics research. In this article,we described the protocols for collecting,preserving and regenerating of watermelon and melon germplasm,for the purpose of enhancing collection and preservation of watermelon and melon germplasm in China.
