Plant resources on Wanshan Islands in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province

There exist 972 species including 84 cultivars belonging to 547 genera of 176 families of vascular plants on Wanshan Islands, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. Among them, 35 species under 27 genera of 21 families are ferns; 11 species under 8 genera of 6 families are gymnospermae and 926 species under 510 genera of 139 families are angiosperm.11 species are the grade two of national protected wild plants. 4 species are the rare and endangered plants in Guangdong Province. 492 species are medicinal plant, 109 species timer plant, 143 species ornamental plant, 21 species forage plant, 105 species fiber plant, 62 species starch plant, 81 species oil plant, 72 species of scent plant and 58 species tanning plant, as well as some species of miscellaneous usages.
