Abstract

Based on the investigation of the safety management system of long- distance oil gas pipeline in USA,the safety regulators,laws,regulations,and standards related with the safety management of long- distance oil gas pipeline were presented. The development of integrity management system of pipeline and the construction of standards,regulations and file system related with pipeline integrity in USA were also discussed. The investigation on the safety management system of long- distance oil gas pipeline in USA was helpful for improving the safety management of long-distance oil gas pipeline in China.
