An Analysis on Emperor Zhu Yuan-zhang's Domination of Eunuches

Abstract
Some ancient historians appreciated emperor Zhu Yuan zhang′s (Tai zu) strict domination eunuches. They considered that the system putting eunuches in the important positions set up in the regime of emperor Zhu Di(Cheng zu),it had nothing to do with emperor Zhu Yuan zhang. But, that was not the case. In fact, eunuches had been in charge of the power of the imperial court in the regime of emperor Zhu Yuan zhang. Emperor Zhu Di only followed the precedent. The system that eunuches in Mimg Dynasty made an inspecting tour, held the position of supervisor in army, participated in economic activity and spied private affairs of the populace set up in the times of Hongwu. The system was an outcome of the system of autocratic monarchy. Even emperor Zhu Yuan zhang could not changed it.
