Digital Project Construction Management System Based on GIS

Geographic Information System(GIS) is a new branch of science technology integrating with mapping and remote,information processing,management and statistics.The construction phase is affected by natural and social factors,which is easy to result in a loss phenomenon.With the coming of digital era,digital project construction management provides a new approach on engineering management.This paper introduced the concept of digital project construction management,established a visible management system based on GIS.The core modules are 3D simulation,data collection and queries,human-computer interaction,and construction management.The system illustrates the construction process which can strengthen the construction management and control.
