Abstract
A 1-dimentional hydrodynamic model is developed for model establishment and verification of the scope from Sixianjiao of Xijiang River and Beijiang River to the Pearl River Estuaries in the 1950′s. The verification result shows that the model well simulates the real situation of the waterway network. There were obvious characteristics of estuary in the channels of the Pearl River Delta. Compared with those in the 1990′s, the diversion ratio in most reference points showed various degrees of differences.
