Abstract
AIM To study the effect of IL2PE 40 on activated T lymphocyte. METHODS Lymphocyte proliferation assay, mixed lymphocyte culture (MLC) and cytotoxicty assay were used. RESULTS The in vitro experiment showed that IL2PE 40 was extremely toxic for Con Astimulated spleen cells from mice, and could suppress Agactivated lymphocyte and the generation of cytotoxic T lymphocyte activity in a MLC while leaving to Con A inducible mitogenic response of the nonactivated lymphocyte. The inhibitory effect was greater when the IL2 toxin was added on day 3 as compared with day 0 of MLC. CONCLUSION Our study suggested that IL2PE 40 can selectively inhibites activated T lymphocyte, which is a potent immunosuppressive agent in IL2R targeting.
