Abstract
ZnO nanoparticles were prepared successfully by solid phase coordination chemistry reaction and characterized by XRD and TEM techniques. For different mass fraction of common ZnO particles and ZnO nanopaticles the electrochemical behavior of zinc oxide electrodes were investigated by cyclic voltammetric and charge-discharge method. The results indicate that the peak shapes in cyclic voltammetry(CV) diagrams are different for different electrodes in a 6.0 mol/L KOH solution. The optimum mixture electrode(Sample D) exhibits remarkable cyclic reversibility, while the pure ZnO nanoparticle electrode(Sample B) is worse.By analyzing the properties of the cyclic charge-discharge of ZnO electrodes, the optimum mixture electrode(Sample D) has the best electrochemical property.
