Abstract

LU Xun, the father of the Chinese modern literature, is still exercising influence on the Chinese literary world. In boldly facing life and the social values and in tracing the origin of spirit, Men of letters of one generation after another encountered LU Xun. Among them is YU Hua whose novel creation shows an astonishing sameness as that of LU Xun in the theory of knowledge and the order of values, in the ideological concept and the deeper mental realm, in the way of thinking and the form of literary expression and so on.
