Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of early nursing intervention to the elderly hip fracture pain. Methods 120 patients were divided randomly into two groups:experimental group and control group(60 cases in each group). Both groups were given the regular nursing and the early pain nursing intervention was added to the experimental group, and the pain intensity on the first day admitted to hospital and 48 hours after operation were compared between the two groups. Results The pain intensity of the experimental group was obviously lower than that of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Early pain nursing intervention can effectively relieve pain of the elderly patients with hip fracture, benefit for the recovery, and improve the quality of life.
