Abstract

Four antagonistic bacteria strains with significant inhibitory effect against Fusarium oxyaporum f.sp.cubense were obtained through isolation from the soil of banana and other fruit garden, their control efficacies to banana Fusarium wilt was detected. The results showed that antagonistic bacterium strains d4,d5,B3 and p were significantly inhibitory to F.oxyaporum f.sp.cubense,and that inhibitive zones that they produced ranged from 21.75 mm to 34.75 mm on PDA plates. The control efficacies of 100,200,300-fold diluted fermentation solution of antagonistic strains bio-d4,bio-d5 and bio-B3 were between 53.3% and 80.2%,being significantly stronger than the efficacies of antagonistic strain bio-P and chemical hymexazol. On the basis of morphology, colony shape, physiological and biochemical characteristics, strains bio-B3,bio-d4,bio-d5 and bio-P were identified as Edwardsiella tard,Pseudomonas chlororaphis,Pseudomonas putida and Enterobacter agglomerans, respectively.
