Abstract

Objective To analyze the drug resistant status of staphylococcus aureus in local clinical samples and provide guidance for clinical use of the drug in reasonable way. Methods We analyzed the drug resistance of 545 staphylococcus aureus which were collected from 2006 to 2007.The data was analyzed by WHONET software. Results The detection rate of methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus(MRSA)was 50.83%.Resistance of Staphylococcus anreus to penicillin, azithromycin, erythromycin are 91%,80.7%, 80.4%,resistance to vancomycin, teicoplanin are 0% and 1.8%.There are significant difference between the resistance of MRSA and MSSA to cefoxitin,levofloxacin,oxacillin(P<0.01).Conclusion Staphylococcus aureus has grave drug resistance towards penicillin, azithromycin, erythromycin.NO vancomycin resistant staphylococcus aureus was detected. The therapy towards infection of staphylococcus aureus should choose an- tibacterials on the basis of result of laboratory drug sensitivity.
