Abstract
Objective To find out the iodine nutritional status of pregnant women in Changhai during 2012 to 2014 by monitoring,and to provide the scientific basis for iodine supplementation.Methods 202 pregnant women were sampled randomly in Changhai county,and the iodine of diurnal random urine and salts were detected.Results The average of salt iodine of pregnant women were25.3,23.6 and 22.6mg/kg,and the median of urinary iodine were 194.3,154.1 and 148.7 μg/l respectively during 2012 to 2014.The median of urinary iodine in 2014 was lower than the national standards.Conclusion We should pay more attention on the iodine nutritional status of pregnant women,supply the iodized salt scientifically,and adjust the iodine concentration in salt on the necessary.
