Abstract
Objective:Study on the components of the essential oil from Sonchus brachyotus DC.Method:This research is to identify the components of the essential oil from Sonchus brachyotus by GC-MS.The essential oil were extracted by the water streem distillation.Result:36 components were identified and represented 89.49% of the peak of the essential oil.Conclusion:The main constituents are 2-Pentadecanone,6,10,14-trimethyl-(35.8%) and n-Hexadecanoic acid(35.3%).
