Abstract
Based on the windward and wind speed data of routine weather stations in 2005,the characteristics of the sea-land breeze were analyzed in Jinzhou area of Dalian.The changes of the wind field were simulated by MM5v3 model when a sea-land breeze took place.And the distances of the sea breeze and the land breeze extending to the land and the sea were calculated,respectively.The results indicated that the occurrence of the sea-land breeze was mainly influenced by the sun radiant intensity and the temperature difference between sea and land.Under the clearness weather conditions in spring and summer,the frequency of sealand breeze was high,and the average wind speed was very large.While the extended distance of the sea-land breeze was mainly influenced by the wind speed.
