Abstract
The cermet inert anodes with the compositions of NiO/Fe are prepared by classical powder metallurgical technique,and the corrosion behaviors of NiO based inert anodes in Na3AlF6-Al2O3 melts are investigated.The results show that the wetting characteristic of nickel to NiO cermet is excellent,the high densification of NiO/Fe cermet anode can be easily achieved.The corrosion resistance of the anode is accepted,when CR=2.3,Al2O3 content is close to saturation,the corrosion rate of cermet anodes is the lowest.
