Abstract

The acidity of a series FCC catalysts and matrixes was tested and measured with the use of FTIR. It was discovered that two kinds of catalysts have a typical acid characteristic, it means that the Bronsted acid sites are much more than Lewis acid sites. In nine kinds of matrixes two have Bronsted acid and Lewis acid sites, others have Lewis acid sites but no B acid sites.
