Reflection of Technological Innovation from the Angle of SST

Social of technology(SST) is essentially a sociological analysis of technology,where the factors are emphasized to play a nuclear role in technological development.By virtue of the orientation and method in SST research,the effect of either technological or non-technological factors on technological innovation process studied in respect to the interactive relationship between technological innovation and society,thus discussing the formation of selectivity,uncertainty and procedure in technological innovation.It is emphasized that a successful technological innovation depends not only on the factors of technology itself and non-technological factors,but also on the recombination of various technological/non-technological factors' as a framework.It is nothing but the social shaping that links the technological and non-technological factors together and,as a result,the technological innovation comes to pass under requirements.
