Abstract
In order to understand the heavy metal pollution of soil along the coal transport road, the contents of six heavy metals were analyzed in soil from different regions along the provincial road 340.The results showed that the differences in contents of heavy metals were not significant in longitudinal soils based on route's direction among the three regions, the pollution indexes of Hg and Pb were highest,Cd was second, and Cr,Ni,As were lower. There was linear relation between the contents of heavy metals and the distance from the roadbed, the contents of heavy metals decreased with the increase of distance from the roadbed, especially Pb,followed by Cr,Ni,As,Cd,Hg,but the content of Pb was still high. The contents of heavy metals decreased with the increase of soil depth, which were highest in the 0-20 cm soil. The correlation analyses showed that there were significant correlations between the content of Hg and the contents of Cr,Pb,As,the content of As and the contents of Cr,Cd,Ni,indicating the sources of these heavy metals may be same, but the detailed source need to be researched still.
