Abstract

Objective To investigate the application of anticoagulation therapy after heart mechanical valve replacements and corresponding inspection. Methods From May 1999 to May 2004,clinical data of 30 cases of the application of anticoagulation therapy after heart mechanical valve replacements were retrospectively analyzed. Results There were no death due to operation except that 1 patient was found chronic pericardial effusion;2 patients were found cyanosis and gore because of haemorrhage during application of anticoagulation therapy after operation. All patients were very well. Conclusion The patients need the application of anticoagulation therapy after heart mechanical valve replacements in lifetime. The correct application of anticoagulation therapy can reduce complication and enhance life quality after heart mechanical valve replacements.
