Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical value of spiral CT scanning in diagnosis of aortic dissection. Methods The characteristic features of spiral CT scanning in 26 cases of aortic dissection were retrospectively studied and analyzed. Results The images of 26 cases of aortic dissection showed double-lumen and teared intimal fragments of vessel.Among them,DeBackey Type I was seen in 9 cases,Type Ⅱ in 2 cases and Type Ⅲ in 15 cases. The main characteristic findings of CT scanning were true and false lumens with different density and separated intimal flaps and inward moved calcified intima, and the involved branch and scope of aorta can be observed. Conclusion SCTA and reconstruction of image can rapidly and accurately diagnose aortic dissection, and it may also provide objective evidence for clinical prompt diagnosis and treatment.
